HON ALH ABDULKADIR MAMMAN NASIR

Hon. Abdulkadir M. Nasir was born on the first day in the first month of the year 1965 to the Royal Family of the Hone Justice Mamman Nasir, (rtd) as the fifth child to the icon of the Supreme Court. At the attainment school age, the young Abdul started his primary education at the legendary Galadima Primary School, Malumfashi in 1971. He obtained his Primary Leaving Certificate in 1977 and got admitted into what could be described as the most famous college in the Northern port of the Country, Barewa College 1977 and finished in 1982 in flying colours.

A year later, Hon. Abdukadir Nasir was at the Katsina Polytechnic and obtained

Diploma in General Agriculture in 1985. This young man, between 1986 to 1988 ottended Federal Soil Conservation School, Kuru, in Plateau State, and graduated with a Diploma in Soil Science. Again, without any interregnum, he proceeded from Kuru to the prestigious Ahmadu Bello Universil Zaria in 1989 for a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering where he obtained his degree in 1991. Hon. Abdukadir Nasir, served the mandatory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) with, Agricultural Development Project, Obio/Akpo, Rivers State.

He was first employed by HOE Farmers Ltd. as Director between 1992 to 1 999, later he was appointed Director Manal Global Inv. Ltd from 1992 to 2001.

He was also appointed Director Katsina State Transport Authority from 2000 to 2002, so also Director, Newsprint Manufacturing Company, Okuiboku, Akwa Ibom State from 2001 to 2003. He was elected the Executive Chairman, Malumfashi Local Government in March, 2004, and re-elected in December same year due to the exigency political restructuring, following the dissolution of the newly created Local Councils in Katsina State.
